Our New Head Office & Plant

At our new production plant, we have advanced facilities for producing needles for dental and skincare field. Relocation of production plant has helped us strengthen our production capability and increase our annual production capacity from 1.9 Billion Needles to 3 Billion Needles. Manufacturing a large range of needles, we are satisfying demands of customers in Japan and Overseas.

Quality

We carry out diverse industrial operations like assembly, sterilization and packaging, all in-house. We follow a quality management system as per which quality to each and every buyer is provided from our end.

Tube Manufacturer: We use stainless steel to produce injection needles. Stainless steel rolling and welding into tube are done in-house, under experts guidance.
Stainless Steel Tube Fabrication: Annealing, drawing, straightening, cutting and inspection takes place at the time of fabrication.
Tube Inspection: Tubes are inspected on the factor of contamination, scratching and more. Samples of tubes are inspected for their flexural strength, inside diameter, appearance, elasticity and fracture resistance.
Fabrication of Needles Injection: New medical techniques are employed for fabrication of needles.
Assembly: Inspection of samples on the basis of their appearance, adhesive strength and puncture resistance takes place.
Packaging and sterilization: We use strong sheets for packaging needles. In a sheet, we pack 10 needles, and in a box 10 sheets containing needles are packed. All the products are sterilized in-house.

Year	Description
1956	Started production of Plastic Blow Molding Products by establishing our own plant in Sumida-ku, Tokyo.
1963	Increased our production capacity after moving/shifting to Hirai, Edogawa-ku, Tokyo. Succeeded in manufacturing plastic cases of patent acquired injection needles. Began producing medical equipment.
1965	Started full scale production of disposable injection needles. Established our new production plant in Minamihara, Tomobe-machi, Nishi-Ibaraki-gun, in Ibaraki Prefecture.
1972	Name of the company changed to Misawa Medical Industry Co., Ltd. Development of a new plant completed at Asahidai.
1986	Headquarter shifted to Hirai, Edogawa-ku, Tokyo. Authorities were informed for our new medical equipment sales operations.
1987	Operations of production in our new plant located at Yoshima Industrial Park in Iwaki City commenced.
1994	Indulged in joint venture in Shanghai (China) and named the firm- Shanghai Misawa Medical Industry Co., Ltd. Became an authorized manufacturing firm for animals medical equipment.
1995	After the retirement of Tojiro Misawa (Founder), Katsuhito Misawa appointed as the new president.
1998	Quality certificate was acquired for manufacturing quality based products.
1999	Began contract based sterilization operations after acquiring permission for sterilization process manufacturing.
2004	Another quality certificate was acquired for developing medical equipment.
2012	General Affairs and Sales Department combined at Asahidai Plant in Kasama City, Ibaraki Prefecture. Retirement of Katsuhito Misawa led to appointment of Hidetoshi Misawa as the new company president. New office in Hongo, Tokyo opened.
2016	Shares were transferred to Kaigen Pharma Co., Ltd. and Air Water Inc.
2018	Our company united with the famous Saito Medical Industries, Inc.
2019	Our company became a wholly owned subsidiary of Air Water Inc.
2020	Headquarter and Asahidai based plant relocated. Development of new factory in Ibaraki Central Industrial Park (Kasama area) completed.
